Which Class should I book into?
Pilates fundamental workshop:
If you're new to Pilates or looking to solidify your foundation, we highly recommend our Pilates Fundamentals Workshop. This workshop is available as an on-demand course and is also offered in greater depth during our monthly in-studio sessions. You'll explore core principles like breath control, alignment, and flow, with a focus on essential techniques such as lateral breathing and maintaining a neutral spine. Key exercises, including bridges, C-curves, and Reformer arm series, are clearly demonstrated and adaptable for all levels. You'll also learn how to modify exercises using spring resistance, making Pilates both accessible and challenging. The in-studio version concludes with a 30-minute Reformer session, putting everything you've learned into practice.
Beginner:
If you are new to Pilates, have not exercised in a long time or have medical considerations, this is the class for you. We will teach you how to use the reformer and perform the basic movements. These are our slowest classes but as with all our classes we keep them challenging. We recommend doing as many of these as required until you feel you are ready for more challenge.
All levels (Beginner + Intermediate):
These are usually scheduled in our slowest times and all levels are welcome. The instructor will accommodate all students by offering alternatives and modifications to exercises as required. This class is suitable for both beginners and intermediates. If you are new to the studio and do have medical considerations, we recommend attending the beginner classes.
Speciality classes (Core Sculpt, Stretch and Strength):
These classes are suitable to all levels but we recommend having attended a minimum of three classes before jumping into one. They focus on a specific area/goal and are a great way to add challenge and variety to your practice.
