Who is this course for?
This course is targeted to the Pilates enthusiasts who wish to develop their understanding of the method and upgrade their repertoire to allow them to teach Pilates on the reformer. Previous knowledge in anatomy and experience teaching would be beneficial. However, a determined study of our course material and dedication to the process will allow anyone to match those criteria. What will the course cover?
What are the career opportunities?
Successful completion of the course will ready you to teach reformer Pilates at commercial studios. We will provide graduates with the option to teach with us on a limited basis ( at least initially ), to help them hone their newly developed skills and gain some experience. |
Overview
Reformer I by Flowing Body Pilates. Whether you are undertaking this course to increase your personal understanding of Pilates, or to develop the knowledge, skills and experience you need to teach reformer at a professional level, you will no doubt find what you need within this course. This is a comprehensive teacher training program. A REPS level 2 fitness instructor qualification or equivalent is recommended as a foundation but not required. We will build on that foundation and provide you the knowledge as well as the skills to become a proficient reformer Pilates instructor. Only participants that successfully pass the assessments will be granted a certificate of completion! This will be a 6 weeks program that will contain the following:
